All-Levels Community Workshop with Resident Artist Anna Sperber
Anna Sperber & Company are in residency with Dance Initiative at The Launchpad from May 28 - June 4, 2024. Join us Saturday, June 1 10am-11:45am for this workshop.
Anna’s work embodies activation and power through collective momentum. This workshop welcomes the practice of shifting energetic states, letting time flow and bend in a shared space. In this workshop Anna will lead a warm up and we will explore simple improvisational practices informed by the intuition and imagination of the body. We will also experiment with making short spontaneous dance compositions drawing attention to our relationship to sensation and the spaces around us.
